We are Leo en Wilma Steenbakkers and have our groenendaelkennel since januari 1992, but we have groenendaels since 1985. We do fanatic agility with our groenendaels and have won many prices and (Champion))titels. We run agility competition in the Netherlands and other competitions on the highest level, also outside of the Netherlands but also to train there. We already competed severall times on World Championships Agility for Belgian Shepards.
Leo is for several years a member of the commision agility of the Dutch Belgian Shepard Club (NVBH) and organises competitions and handlersdays and demo's for the Belgian Shepards. In 2010 he was the coach of the Dutch agility team on the World Championships in Germany.
Wilma did Obedience competion before the agility for severall years and competed on the Dutch Championships for Obedience. When she was a kid she always go with her uncle, who had scottish shepards, (we had one to), to the shows and doing ringtraining. Now Wilma is a dog groomer, she has a diplome for it and also the diplome KK-1(Kynologic Knowledge I).

Our groenendaelkennel is not big, the dogs live in our house and not in caches, above all they are our friends and members of our family. With the breeding we appreciate a combination of health and a social and working character with we need for agility and not forgotten the beautifull looks of the dogs, becaus we believe that working and beying beautifull can go together.

Mostly we breed too have a puppie out of our own lines for agilitysport and for our own lines in future, because they have a high working speed and much "will to please" to compete on the highest level in agility. So they are active dogs for a sportive owner, very capabele for agility, obedience, flybal, doggydance or kind of other sports. Because of the "will to please" they like to do it all for there boss and have fun together. Inside our home they lay down somewhere and relax, but when we are going to do something they are becoming alive.
We are breeding following the rules of the Dutch Club for Belgian Shepards (NVBH). Soo, our dogs do forfill the breeding commands of that club and succeeded mentaltest, have good hips and have exellent show results.
